Better Call Paul: The Mystery of the “Winged Beatle”

guewqchqw.jpg

“…the accepted myth involves the premature death of a youth who is transformed by death into a god. This is a prevalent theme from Osiris and Achilles to Jesus Christ.”
–R. Gary Patterson, “The Walrus Was Paul”

“I’m not the phony—THEY are!”
–Saul Cartwright, “Batman” #222

We’re going to discuss now one of the key pop-culture conspiracy theories of the 20th Century…the supposed death and replacement of Beatle Paul McCartney. It is the Rosetta Stone for so many other celebrity doppelgänger folktales (up to “Dave Chappelle’s Clone” in the present day).

A Body For Paimon: The Deeper Meaning Of “Hereditary”

gouhiok.jpg

“It’s alright. Charlie, you’re alright, now. You…are Paimon. One of the eight kings of Hell. We have looked to the northwest and called you in. We’ve collected your first female body and give you now this healthy male host. We reject the trinity and pray devoutly to you, Great Paimon.”
–Joan, “Hereditary”

“St. Sophia is going to be born again; she was not acceptable before.”
–Philip K. Dick

I am going to attempt to “unpack” esoterically the 2018 movie Hereditary. It’s the sort of film crackling with visceral occult energy that you think about long after you see it—and to be honest there’s so much here to consider that to write about it in any sort of comprehensive post seems like an overwhelming task. But I’ll give it a shot.

Choose The Green Pill: Exit Matrix, Enter Snowpiercer

jlkkjl.jpg

“I believe it is easier for people to survive on this train if they have some level of insanity. As Gilliam well understood, you need to maintain a proper balance of anxiety and fear and chaos and horror in order to keep life going. And if we don’t have that, we need to invent it. In that sense, the Great Curtis Revolution you invented was truly a masterpiece.”
–Wilford, “Snowpiercer”

1999’s The Matrix was, once upon a time, ground-breaking not only in terms of cinema but because of its seismic impact on “conspiracy culture.” If writers in alternative media were struggling to communicate their views on New World Order oppression and the illusory nature of reality, Matrix was like the handy CliffsNotes version that told it all in bright shiny pictures.

John Wick 3 Trailer & The Matrix Parallels

hihjk.jpg

So in Spring of 2019 the Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick 3 will debut—about 20 years after 1999’s The Matrix.

As was the case with The Matrix, we are all on the edge of a new era—2020. That Y2K “Doomsday” feeling isn’t quite there with this date, but there still is a vague nervous anticipation in the air. And certainly, our society—on the fringes, but also, to an extent, within the pop-culture of the masses—have fully absorbed the (Gnostic) idea of living in a false reality of sorts that was the crux of the film.

The Alchemical “Burt Wonderstone”

ijlfyjh.jpg

Burt Wonderstone: “Mr. Gray. What you do is not magic. It is monkey porn.”

Steve Gray: “I understand. It’s natural for a dying leaf to be frightened by the autumn wind.”

OK, here you go: possibly the most “deep,” esoteric analysis of the movie The Incredible Burt Wonderstone you will ever read.

You’re welcome.

Prepare to have your world-view, your religious identification, and even your very perception of reality altered forever—all through this seemingly insignificant 2013 movie starring Steve Carell and Jim Carrey. We’re gonna talk Simon Magus, we’re gonna talk alchemy, we’re gonna talk psychedelic plants…it’s gonna be wild. Really.
