Messenger Shiva Part 1: The Event Itself

In 2014 a phrase suddenly popped into my head; two words, actually. “Messenger Shiva.” I didn’t know what that meant, exactly, but I put it in my back pocket in case I ever needed a snappy cryptic title for something.

And here we are!

But I’m not sure if what I’m writing here will really be something….bigger. I just want to talk about something that is still a rather “raw” period of my life. A sad period. A weird period. A period from like a few minutes after 9/11 through fall of 2016.

And it starts with the rather odd little synchronicity that I think kind of changed my life…

We’re going to discuss now one of the key pop-culture conspiracy theories of the 20th Century…the supposed death and replacement of Beatle Paul McCartney. It is the Rosetta Stone for so many other celebrity doppelgänger folktales (up to “Dave Chappelle’s Clone” in the present day).

Is April Really The CRUELEST Month? (The Historical Evidence)

A couple of years ago I started a calendar of events in world history to help better shape the content on this site. I thought it’d be helpful if I knew when certain anniversaries were going to come up, and things like that.

And as I went through April, I noticed something really strange—April seemed to be historically a really “dark” month. A lot of significant—often violent and/or “dark”—events have happened in April, especially in the second half of the month. This falls in line with what I’ve heard of regarding April being the “cruelest” month.
